ElizabethJohn is the joint endeavor of the Marston Family's next generation: siblings Elizabeth Marston Leahy and John Marston. First planted in the 1890's on the southern slopes of Spring Mountain (outside of Saint Helena, CA), the Marston Family Vineyard has long produced some of the area's most refined fruit, as you will soon get to experience with one bottle each of their Non-Vintage ElizabethJohn Cabernet Sauvignon and the ElizabethJohn 2011 Sauvignon Blanc.

Non-Vintage Cabernet Sauvignon

"Our non-vintage ElizabethJohn Cabernet Sauvignon is a blend of 2008, 2009, and 2010 vintages. It showcases the range of the vineyard, is approachable in its youth and will evolve gracefully for many years to come. We’re honored the label bears the names of siblings Elizabeth and John, representing the deep family heritage of the vineyard and terroir. (50 cases produced)"

2011 Elizabethjohn Sauvignon Blanc (only one barrel!)

With their foray into Sauvignon Blanc, Elizabeth and John have conservatively produced very limited amounts of wine; in fact, you cannot acquire this delightful, crisp wine except through the Marston Family! There were only 25 cases of the 2011 Sauvignon Blanc --  the third white they've produced for ElizabethJohn -- which means its value is difficult to estimate. This traditional white combines fruity aromatics with an elegant, balanced structure that goes well with everything.

Thanks to the fabulous Elizabeth Marston Leahy & James Leahy, who have supported TEACHED from the get-go, for this generous contribution of two hard-to-get, highly-desired wines from the Spring Mountain District.
