Join Hawk Mountain's Senior Research Biologist, Dr. Jean-François "JF" Therrien for a day of kestrel banding. You and up to 9 guests will accompany Dr. Therrien while he bands nestling American Kestrels born in Hawk Mountain's kestrel nestbox network. Dr. Therrien studies the reproductive biology and natural history of this tiny falcon, and the winner will get an opportunity to learn about kestrel biology and Hawk Mountain's current kestrel research while meeting wild kestrels and touring the scenic Kempton Valley.

Note: Banding dates will depend on the development of kestrel chicks, so flexibility is required. Estimated banding dates are late-May to Mid-June 2014. Offers expires in 2014.
