Open to 2nd and 4th graders. Minimum 6 students, Maximum 10 students
Description:
The Marin Headlands has beautiful beaches, spectacular views, and an exciting history. This adventure will give students a chance to hike in the Headlands, learn about and visit historic military forts and batteries, play nature games and visit an ocean beach.
Teacher leaders: Science teacher Bill Bixby and 4th grade teacher Elaine O’Rourke.
Cost:
$40 per student
Date:
Mrs. Naretto will announce a date for teacher parties/items (it will probably be one of the short Wednesdays in May).
Important Detail: Parents (not all parents need to drive, but enough drivers to transport students there and back) will carpool from school at 12:15 to the Marin Headlands. Students will leave the Headlands at 3:15 to return to school. Students bring bag lunches.
6 Students @ $40 per student *Will increase to (10) students if all (6) slots are filled.
