The Needle Arts Center is dedicated to the preservation and continuation of the necessary and artistic needle skills of times past and still useful in modern times.

These arts include quilting, knitting, spinning and weaving, garment sewing, embroidery, counted cross stitch, lace making, crochet, rug making and more.

Two of their classes included but  not limited to:

• Beginning Sewing- In this class you will learn all about making a garment of your choice. How to read and use the pattern, sewing accurate seams, making pockets and other additions, complete finishing details. You'll get lots of encouragement and personal attention.Sewing is 'sew' satisfying, you'll love it. Prerequisite: Know how to operate your sewing machine. (This class meets once a week for six weeks.)


• Advanced Sewing- You have mastered the basics of reading and using a pattern, sewing 5/8" seams and hemming, now you are ready to work on something more complex. Make pants, a dress or other pattern that you need help with. In this class, you make or finish a project that is a challenge. Not too hard but more than the simplest pattern. (This class meets once a week for six weeks.)
