1st grade is a special time where memories and friendships and made and treasured. To always remember our classmates in 1st grade, we have made a wooden red antiqued frame that features self portraits hand painted by each student. The 1st grade loves to look at these adorable painted self-portraits and read all of their classmates' names. Another treasure we have is our "First Grade Friends Now & Forever" book. In this book you'll find each student has their own page with two precious pictures of them. The students also wrote about the things they enjoy doing with their friends in the present year 2014 and then what they portray their life will be like for them in 20 years from now in 2034. This book is priceless and a true keepsake that your child will read over and over again.
