Watercolor by “The Big I”:  Dr. Robert James Izant (1921-2004) was the founder of the Pediatric Surgery Division at Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital, serving there from 1958 to 1986.  He had  lifelong enthusiasms for watercolor painting and world travel.  His work has been featured in several shows, including at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History and Western Reserve Academy.
