It's not an easy task getting a 150 lb. komodo dragon to cooperate getting a footprint...but actually it's not as bad as you think! We visit him early in the morning before he has had the chance to warm up. We are able to water plants, clean up his messes if he made them, and give him a scrub bath. As we scrub him we can get him to lift his foot and push it down into clay. After this we fill the print with plaster of Paris, let it set, and voila we have a komodo footprint cast.
