Tour for four people to visit the multi-species crane breeding facility and new kiwi breeding facility at the Smithsonian Conservation Biology Institute (SCBI) in Front Royal, VA. Learn about assisted reproduction in these marvelous, yet very different bird species. Tour led by National Zoo avian specialists Warren Lynch and Chris Crowe. This item also includes a framed kiwi paw print to decorate your home or office!


SCBI is a 3,200-acre site in the Shenandoah Valley, where scientists and staff are engaged in multi-disciplinary research to recover endangered species, save habitat, and restore species to the wild.
