NYC Is My Backyard is a unique program for children in grades K-8, designed to improve their writing skills while honoring their adventurous spirits. Join us as we learn and play in the best backyard and classroom there is, New York City!

What better way to memorialize your child's adventures than to write about them? Sign your child up for one-day or week-long expeditions to some of the city’s most interesting and inspirational neighborhoods. Each trip will offer him/her the opportunity to strengthen his/her writing skills, discover the city and make new friends. For weekly campers, one day each week, campers will take part in a community service project (such as park beautification) in the neighborhood they are exploring.
