Description
This great lot consists of a pair of wrought iron fire tools- a poker and a shovel. What is so special about these particular pieces you ask? Well these were handmade in April 1971 by Jim Porteus blacksmith at the Farmers' Museum. A great addition next to the fire place or out at the lake camp! If you take these home today, you are walking away with a piece of museum history. The iron poker measures in at 2 feet, 6 inches and the shovel measures in at 2 feet, 9 inches long.
