Each year, DVIP’s shelters provide a safe place to go for approximately 325 women and children, as victims flee their abusers to seek shelter for themselves and their loved ones. Many of the families come with nothing to shelter. 

With this Gift of Compassion you (or the recipient of this gift) will sponsor four survivors of domestic violence with comprehensive support crisis needs, such as counseling, support group, and criminal justice advocacy services for 30 days – the average amount of time an individual needs DVIP’s support to start a new life free of fear and violence. DVIP will send the winning bidder a beautifully printed gift certificate, suitable for gift giving, to recognize this humanitarian gesture of kindness and generosity.
