This amazing oil painted landscape was created by Chris Mann, a participant at the Progressive Art Program at the Mens Correctional Facility in Lancaster, CA, where the Karma PAWS for Life program is ongoing.   

Earlier this year, officials from the California Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation (CDCR) approached Karma Rescue with a unique opportunity: could we help them develop a training program inside one of our state prisons that would pair inmates with rescued shelter dogs?  Karma Rescue launched the pilot program July 1, 2014 with 14 inmates and 5 dogs.

Chris Mann has generously donating this fabulous oil painting to support Karma Rescue. This beautiful painting won a blue ribbon at the Antelope Valley Fair and Alfalfa Festival.
