The winner will receive a paperback copy of the book The Bain Event: Our Adoption Story.

The Bain Event is the story of Dave and Kathy Bain, who after having one son and one private adoption, began the process of foster care.  They fostered over thirty children and ended up adopting twelve children in all, including one sibling set of eight.  This book explains the joys, fears and challenges they have faced with both the children and the system.  It includes sections written by some of the children as well as other relatives that have been part of this process.
