The Pops Concert Series includes five performances. The two subscription seats will be located on the orchestra floor in Reynolds Hall at the Smith Center.

Our new Music Director Donato Cabrera kicks off the festivities with our popular annual celebration of the holiday season! The full orchestra will be joined by the men and women of the Las Vegas Master Singers and other special guests to present a seasonal program including classical selections from Tchaikovsky and Vaughan Williams alongside Leroy Anderson favorites. Join us at 2:00 or 7:30 for this fun symphonic sleigh ride culminating in a holiday sing-along!

On December 15, 1915 Francis Albert Sinatra was born in Hoboken, New Jersey. For our 2014 15 season finale we say “Happy 100th, Frank!” and pay musical homage to the artist whose voice, name and style left an indelible imprint on our city’s soul. Matt Catingub returns to present this special tribute featuring his very own arrangements of classic hits by Sinatra. In the early 1960s Frank personally signed Matt’s mother, Mavis Rivers, to his Reprise Records label. Noting this unique connection, Matt shares his recollections and musical memories of the greatest singer of his generation.
