Dave Smith (Owner/Instructor) - Born in San Francisco, California began his musical training at the age of ten. Besides performing in many exclusive venues, recordings for TV and radio, he has worked with many fine big band leaders such as Ernie and Earl Heckscher and Ray Hackett. He has backed up classic artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Bob Hope, Rosemary Clooney, Tennessee Ernie Ford, Jimmy Rodgers, Nancy Ames, Florence Henderson, Ethel Merman, and many other great performers.

Dave holds a Bachelors Degree in Classical Guitar and a Masters Degree in Music Theory and Composition from California State University in Hayward California.
