Located at the acclaimed equestrian setting of Galway Downs recently renamed Temecula Downs Event Center, The Temecula Valley Polo Club (TVPC) was established in 2013 as a regional fundraising venue and prestigious Polo Club showcasing the talent of local and internationally renowned players committed to aligning the sport with philanthropy.

The Temecula Valley Polo Club’s mission is to hold polo charitable events to serve local non-profit organization to hold polo luncheon fundraisers to further serve their mission and help raise funds and awareness. TVPC was founded by Geraldine Strunsky, an avid polo player and advocate for environmental, children and animal rights in the Temecula Valley. In the summer of 2012, the USPA rated polo field was put in with high quality Bermuda stollens, which allows for playing starting in May of 2013. The club plans to continue to carefully select and support organizations that help important causes in the Valley. The club’s facilities include a polo arena, stabling for up to 200 horses, 1 mile dirt track, beautiful large party tent. TVPC  provides polo lessons and excellent rental polo ponies for new riders to enter the world of polo. Temecula Downs has over 200 stalls for rent during the season.

As of 2014, Temecula Valley Polo Club is getting ready to begin it’s 2nd Season and rapidly taking shape as a premier polo club that will be home to polo events bringing players from around the world to participate in the world’s oldest team sport, polo. In addition, TTVPC will fuse philanthropy with polo by serving as a regional fundraising venue for local and national charities to host “one-of-a-king” exclusive events that will raise money and awareness for a variety of causes.

Event guests are treated to the beauty of the wine country as they witness the power and the passion of polo at catered luncheons and early evening events featuring exclusive wine and food pairings, world class entertainment, live and silent auctions of luxury products and, of course, traditional champagne divot stomps.

The vision is two-fold and will only become a reality with Temecula Valley Polo Club becoming a pivotal part of the Temecula community by giving back locally. As we move forward we begin the process of aligning ourselves with innovative non-profit organizations to help them raise money and general awareness for the work they are doing in and around the community. Our outreach also extends to the Southern California region with the goal of becoming a catalyst for polo. Since opening the club on May 1st 2013, Temecula Valley Polo Club  has become to establish itself as a premier polo club and regional fundraising venue.

Target Demographic: Southern California residents between the ages of 24-70, consumers of luxury products, corporate executives, entrepreneurs, charity patrons, and polo club members.
