Karen Boren has worked for Young Living Essential Oils for 11 years. She currently serves as Research Writing Manager. A former newspaper and grant writer, she did research on a neurological PowerPoint for Gary in Ecuador and traveled the Frankincense Trail with Gary and his team in 2009. Karen works on special projects for the Youngs and assists with the writing and editing of scientific studies published in peer-reviewed journals. Recently, she was the co-author and author of two papers for a Japanese aromatherapy journal.

Karen will share her love of the history of frankincense and the many benefits of frankincense reported in the scientific literature. She will also discuss the groundbreaking Young Living study on chiral differences between Boswellia sacra and Boswellia carterii that proved they are two separate species.
