The lower grades and middle school have a need for six pairs of Peg Stilts.  What are Peg Stilts, you ask?  There will be a live demonstration of these Waldorf-approved mobile devices at the Pearl Jubilee.

The stilts have adjustable nylon webbing straps at the toe, ankle and knee.  There's a padded cup at the knee to increase stability and comfort, and reclaimed mountain bike tires are used on the peg bottom to increase traction and absorb shock.

According to their website: "stilt walking is great for co-ordination, cognitive and physical development, balance, confidence, self-esteem, strength, and trust building, and is an extremely interactive activity", but hey we know it's a lot of fun!

We are in need of six pairs at a cost of $200 each.  Extra funds may be used for the purchase of a teaching microscope for the high school and/or an outlast wheelbarrow.
