Description
Point Reyes is a national treasure. You know what else is? ICE CREAM, particularly from Fentons Creamery, founded in 1894! Can you brave the Arctic cold of Fentons Creamery's "Blast Freezer?" Find out with this delicious tour of Oakland's Sweetest Landmark.
We are excited to offer an Arctic Tour for up to 6 children and 4 adults from our friends at Fentons Creamery, home to the best hand-made ice cream in the East Bay since 1894. Fentons Creamery welcomes the opportunity to share the process of making their famously rich and tasty old-fashioned ice cream with you and your guests.
First, your lucky group will hear about the history of Fentons Creamery. Then, you will take a “Behind-the-Scenes” tour of the ice cream production facility where your group will be able to taste fresh ice cream as it is being made. This is followed by a visit to the infamous Blast Freezer where Arctic temperatures exist! Tours focus on the history of Fentons creamery and how ice cream is made. Afterwards, everyone will enjoy a dish of delicious hand-made ice cream. Perfect for a family afternoon, a child's birthday party or a sleepover with a twist, this is a truly sweet deal. Gather the kids and brave the Arctic cold.
