This small Shakyamuni Buddha and handcrafted traveling altar box were made in Nepal exclusively for Tibet Collection. Artisans trained in Nepali papermaking techniques created this handmade paper using bark from the Himalayan lokta (daphne) bush.  This bark is sustainably harvested by local villagers, maintaining Nepal's ecological balance.
