The 2015 AGO Mid-Atlantic Regional Convention will be held in beautiful Pittsburgh, Pa., June 2124, 2015. Outstanding regional and national artists David Briggs, Nathan Laube, Mary Beth Bennet, David Shelat, Renee Ann Louprette and organ duo Christopher Jennings/Brian Harlow will perform. Ann Elise Smoot will both perform and offer a day of master classes for young organists. Washington, D.C. Bach scholar Reilly Lewis will collaborate with nationally acclaimed Pittsburgh ensemble, Chatham Baroque, for an exquisite glimpse of Baroque color and sonority. Convention attendees and public alike will be thrilled by the sounds of the one and only orchestra of voices, Chanticleer. Workshops will bring experts in vocal training, Twenty-First Century technology, handbell ringing, music of African American composers, and more. The convention banquet will feature a night on the Gateway Clipper Cruise Ship with culinary and musical delights.
