This handmade pillow is constructed from a beaver pelt, trapped on Prince of Wales Island, Alaska, by local kayak guide, Patty Holley. It is commercially tanned, but handmade by Patty. It is approximately 16" across. The back is green cotton-type fabric. The inside is fiberfill batting. DO NOT WASH!

Patty has lived on Prince of Wales Island for 26 years and takes every opportunity to be outdoors. She has a kayak tour business, complete with all the trappings to camp for one night or up to a week. This area of Alaska is easy to reach, but with the remote feel of a true wilderness experience.
