A three-time All-American at UCLA from 1972 - 1974, Walton was the top overall pick or the Portland Trailblazers in 1974 and led them to their first and only NBA championship in 1977. In 1986, he won another NBA title as a member of the Boston Celtics. Walton's pro career spanned 14 seasons with the Trailblazers (1974-79), San Diego/Los Angeles Clippers (1979-1985) and the Celtics (1985-88). Named the NBA's Most Valuable Player in 1978, Walton currently works as a college basketball commentator for ESPN.
