Jody Funk of Funky Art Design is an award winning artist, who was introduced to clay and pottery as a teenager, earning her BFA in ceramic art at Alfred University. Her work in clay has explored a range of sizes from very small to very large (250 lb. pieces). She has combined this work in clay with her strong background in painting.

Jody resides and works in Hendersonville, North Carolina, a part of the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, which provide continuous inspiration. Her work in clay allows her love of nature to collaborate with her love of texture and color, to create tile and jewelry that celebrate the natural beauty that surrounds us. Each piece of jewelry, including necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, are individually formed, and is truly art to wear.
