On the day that the Center For Whale Research made the announcement that a new baby had been born to the L Pod, is the very day I got these photos. 

I knew Dianne was designing this necklace especially for the Lolita's Gift Auction, and had been working on it for months, but on the day that our new baby was born, she got a most special birthday gift of this sterling silver Mother and baby.

"Mommy and baby Orca" pendant. Mom and baby are linked together allowing the baby to move. I crafted these for an Orca Network charity event.

I hand sculpted these orcas from recycled fine silver and then cast in sterling silver".
