Donna actually worked at the Miami Seaquarium for a year and a half (you can't do better,  until you know better lol). 

This 9 x 12 oil pastel was created from one of her photos of Maki, Lolita's tank-mate, taken in 1990, and does such justice to the memory that Lolita and Maki were friends.

This being said... this wonderful memory of Maki is such an important tribute that friendship can even bridge species  (maybe we could use a lesson).
