A two-day adventure in the Heart of the Monticello Wine Trail. On a Saturday morning, drive to Howardsville, VA for lunch at The Back 20 Bed and Breakfast (not a real B&B -- it's our home in the middle of nowhere) and then depart with a designated driver (me) to Dave Matthew's Blenheim Vineyards (http://blenheimvineyards.com); Trump Winery (http://www.trumpwinery.com); and First Colony Winery (www.firstcolonywinery.com). Return to the Back 20 for Dinner and a Bonfire. After Sunday breakfast, drive to Carter Mountain Orchard to hand pick apples before returning home. Up to Two couples can be accommodated. Includes Wine Tasting; a $25 gift certificates per couple at each winery; and $25 gift certificate per couple for Carter Mountain Orchard.
