This device comes in a cool silver logoed keepsake metal carrying case along with the inital 3 batteries and pen tips. It is a laser pointer with a little red dot along with a flash light that uses a white light either solid or in strobe mode, it also has a 512MB zip drive to transfer or hold files when you unscrew the pen in the middle. Oh, and it is also a pen though I will tell you that with all that other stuff it is a really heavy pen! As a side note, my personal input is that is makes a fantastic cat or dog toy, if you have ever seen a cat chase a red laser dot you know that is hours of fun. The metal case has the logo imprinted on it and the pen has the logo laser engraved on it. A cool thing that seems to come in handy when you least expect it!
