This truly unique event begins with a wine and cheese reception accompanied by an informative program on wolf communication and behavior. You will explore the myths and misconceptions that surround the wolf, including whether wolves really howl at a full moon.

After the indoor program, you and your Endangered Wolf Center hosts will walk about a half mile (round trip) to an area near the wolf enclosures for the highlight of the event. There, we will attempt to get the wolves to howl. Our wolves usually answer, but, like all wild animals, they are unpredictable and may not respond. Guests get a chance to howl as well!

After the Howl, you will enjoy coffee and dessert along with an opportunity to ask questions and browse our gift shop for one-of-a-kind gifts and mementos.
