If you want to learn the joys of sailing or just get out on the water to see the beautiful Navesink river, there is no better place to take lessons than the Monmouth Boat Club in Red Bank, NJ. Each year some 30-40 adults including some teens learn to sail a Flying Scot on the Navesink River. The Flying Scot is a stable, comfortable 19′ tiller steered centerboard sailboat which serves as an excellent family daysailer or competitive racing boat. One 2-hour lesson for either 1 or 2 adults.
