Leoma Lovegrove, an impressionist-expressionist painter known worldwide for her colorful artistic depictions of flora and fauna calls Matlacha Island, Florida her home. It is here that she is inspired within her own waterfront gallery and gardens where she greets thousands of visitors each year. 

Leoma's contagious love of Florida has been instrumental in encouraging tourism to the state.  Her works are on display in galleries throughout the world and are in two Presidential libraries. She was also honored at an artist’s reception at The White House given by First Lady, Laura Bush.
