Penumbra Theatre creates professional productions that are artistically excellent, thought provoking, relevant, and illuminate the human condition through the prism of the African American experience.  While each of the stories in the 2014-2015 season illuminates the struggles women face, they are equally triumphant and inspiring, and they belong to all of us.
