St. Louis legend, Ozzie Smith, is known for setting major league records for career assists and double plays by a shortstop during his time with the Cardinals. He was nicknamed "The Wizard" due to his defensive brilliance. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility in 2002 and was also elected to the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame in the inaugural class of 2014.
