Limited edition offset lithograph--"Shavuoth"--by renowned Moroccan-Israeli artist Amram Ebgi. Matted and framed. 17 inches x 11 inches.


About the Artist: Amram Ebgi was born in Morocco in 1939, immigrated to Israel in 1951 and lived in Kfar Blum, a kibbutz founded by English-speaking immigrants. Ebgi began drawing and painting at age 16, for his own pleasure, was "discovered" while working in the kibbutz, and in 1958 received a scholarship to study art at Brooklyn Museum of Art. For many years he created his work on the kibbutz, whihc marketed it. In 1981 Ebgi relocated to Miami, Florida where he currently has a studio. He has enjoyed one man shows throughout USA and Israel. He has received numerous honors and prizes including being invited to create the official poster for Israel's 40th Anniversary. His work is in institutions and museums including Yale, Duke, Vassar, and U.C.L.A.
