The Uncorked Series is MUSE/IQUE's signature series of “pop-up” events that take place in improvised concert halls in unexpected public spaces and iconic locales throughout Pasadena, such as The Rosemont Pavilion, The Rose Palace, Jacob Maarse Florists, The Blacker House, The Levitt Pavilion, and the Backstage of the Civic Auditorium.  

Fearless artists join Artistic Director Rachael Worby and an inquisitive audience for 70 minute adventures in time, place and music. Each Uncorked Series event is aimed at inspiring the creative spirit, engaging the community’s imagination and fostering new generations of music lovers.

Infinite/Quattro will be held at Jacob Maarse Florists on Monday, April 13, 2015. MUSE/IQUE is inspired by the collective imagination of QUATTRO. They share our passion to rethink rules and shatter barriers of expectation. From jazz-layered Vivaldi to Latin-infused violin standards by Fritz Kreisler and inventive instrumentation like typewriter percussion, QUATTRO is the band of our mischievous dreams.

Bacharach/Riot is going to be held at The Levitt Pavilion on Monday, May 4, 2015. With counter-conventional chord progressions and strikingly syncopated rhythms, Burt Bacharach reinvented popular music. Rachael Worby will lead artists from all different types of musical backgrounds in a contemporary exploration of the music that captivated the mood of every decade since the 1950s. Bacharach’s range of hits from That’s What Friends Are For to Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head staggers the imagination. With a raucous mix of jazz, gospel, rock and even hip-hop infused grooves, the only thing you can expect for sure is a riotous good time!

Tickets may be broken up - 2 tickets for one performance, 2 for the other.
