ALTAeats is a hidden gem located in a nondescript building in Altadena. There’s no sign so you may drive by it a few times, but that’s part of the charm.

Inside, there’s a ton of creativity flowing out of Chef Paul Ragan’s kitchen. The seasonal menu changes frequently but if you’re lucky enough to be able to order the bacon wrapped fig appetizer, don’t miss it!

The herb-crusted rack of lamb is to die for, the duck confit hash is elegantly presented, and the crème brulee trio (pear, strawberry, and vanilla) is simply scrumptious (All menu items subject to change.)
