Description

Raoul Dufy was a French Fauvist painter known for his use of bright color and depiction of open-air social events.  He was born in Le Havre, and enrolled at the École des Beaux-Arts in 1900.  Dufy was influenced by the Impressionist painters such as Manet, Monet and Pissaro, and Post-Impressionists such as Toulouse-Lautrec and Van Gogh.


This reproduction print of Dufy's watercolor "Les Trois Masques" is full of joie de vivre.


Details:  Excellent condition; watercolor print reproduction; print measures 10" x 7 1/2"; double matted and framed; frames measures 16 1/2" x 14 1/2" with no chips or dents; small tear in paper backing.
