Artist Info: John Paul Fernandes is a Native RI Artist, his award winning works have been exhibited in local museums, galleries & solo exhibitions throughout Rhode Island and Massachusettes. In addition to abstract painting- Fernandes has a line of painted neckties & water color tea bags. 

Always drawing or creating. Fernandes studied art at Roger Williams University, an alumni class of 1975. Studied Jewelry Design at Rhode Island School of Design and Porcelain Doll making and antique reproduction at Seeley Doll Artisens School. With a splash of color, drawing from nature, he creates abstract action paintings, comfortable letting the work take on new directions of it's own.
