The Photo Safari Package includes six (6) days and six (6) nights accommodation for two people at your choice of three venues: Zulu Nyala Game Lodge, Heritage Safari Lodge, or Luxury Heritage Tented Safari Camp. These facilities are situated in the heart of one of South Africa's richest conservation areas. Also included are three delicious meals per day plus two game viewing activities per day on the Zulu Nyala Game Reserve in open Land Rovers with a qualified and experienced game ranger. Your personal game ranger will assist you in arranging your activities during your stay at Zulu Nyala.

Zulu Nyala Private Game Reserve provides a unique bush experience in the heart of one of South Africa's most diverse conservation regions. The privately owned reserve is home to over 40 different species of animal and magnificent birdlife. The Heritage Safari Lodge was originally built in the 1940's as a hotel and was a landmark pit-stop for weary travelers between Maputo and Durban. Acquired in 1996, the gracious building was lovingly restored to its original colonial grandeur, enhanced with new accommodation, and tastefully themed to highlight Zululand's unique cultural heritage. Sundowners are a fine part of old colonial tradition that really should be observed! The Zulu Nyala Heritage Hotel also has a small library, as well as a beautifully stocked curio shop for your browsing pleasure and be sure to keep an eye out for the impala, nyala, warthog, zebra, blesbok and Zulu nguni cattle that roam freely on the property.

Take your senses back in time to an era when traveling with tents was the only way to explore the magnificence of Africa. Zulu Nyala's Hemingway Tented Camp provides a sense of safari adventure with all the comforts of a luxury camp. The elegant and spacious tents, with permanent bases, contrast cool neutrals with earth tones and slate in colonial style, counter-pointed with ethnic inspiration. The tents are situated within the grounds of the Heritage Safari Lodge, with Antelope and Zebra freely roaming the grounds. The estate is adjacent to the Zulu Nyala Private Game Reserve.

Safari Game Drives are conducted early morning and late afternoon.
