Live among Costa Rican locals for one week in Uvita, a secluded destination on the Pacific Ocean.
Nearby attractions:
- Secluded beaches (within walking distance): Punta Uvita and Marino Ballena National Park. Enjoy a variety of water activities, hiking, and horseback riding.
- National Parks: Manuel Antonio, the most popular national park in Costa Rica, and Corcovado National Park, ranked by National Geographic as the world's third best national park because of its premier wildlife.
- From May to October it may be possible to witness olive ridley and hawksbill sea turtles coming ashore to nest.
- Between December and April watch majestic humpback whales migrate through the waters just offshore.
Cabin Amenities:
Bathroom inside each cabin, outside kitchen with a refrigerator and dishes, outlets that do not require adapters, television, air conditioning, and a washer and dryer.
Special Instructions
Winner is responsible for all food and beverage, transportation, and any incidental charges incurred. There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy food and prepare it yourself at the cabin, or you can choose to pay a nominal fee to have the staff make your store-bought food. No hairdryer in the cabin.
The San Jose Airport is a two-and-a-half-hour drive from the cabins. Rental cars are available at the airport or in Uvita.
Please avoid December, the New Year's holidays, and Holy Week (April 3 through 12) bookings.
