The Spring 2015 private guided tour includes a 3D printing demonstration, selection of an image file to be downloaded, and souvenir 3D print. From fabricating radical new sneaker designs to manufacturing incredibly light prosthetic limbs, 3D printing technology is revolutionizing manufacturing. The MakerBot Innovation Center at SUNY New Paltz is the first in the nation. This cutting-edge center connects the university’s science, math, engineering and fine arts programs.
