Delos Palmer, Am. 1890-1960

Palmer is best know for his large and dramatic murals and for his statuesque portraiture. He studied at the Art Student's League and with artists such as George Bellows, Robert Henri, Earnest Blumenschein, Eugene Speicher, and John Carlson. His room-sized mural "Dark Day" is in the old Town Hall, Stamford, CT and his large "Justice" is in the Stamford Probate Court.
