Michael has been teaching students of all ages and levels for over 40 years. Instruction includes theory, ear training, technique based on principles of Chi Kung, and music history.  And Michael¿s patience, compassion and gentle demeanor make him the perfect piano teacher for both children and adults. 

He has a Bachelors and a Masters Degree from the Juilliard School studying with Rosina Lhevinne.  He has also studied with Nadia Boulanger and Gaby Casadesus in Paris, and Jascha Zayde in New York.  Michael has performed in recital and with orchestra in the U.S., Canada, France, Italy, Germany, Brazil, Israel and Russia.
