The Point Defiance Zoo is a hidden treasure, an interactive learning experience for all age groups, with wonderful animal exhibits, beautiful landscaping, a close up underwater look at a polar bear, walruses, seals and otters, and so much more.  I took my grandkids there this summer, and spent a wonderful day, they even rode on a camel.
