The Flatpick Earl Bluegrass Band is the bluegrass band from the Flatpick Earl music store in Sandpoint, Idaho. Starting with Dennis Coats playing the banjo on numerous commercials and TV shows. Then moving to Spokane, Washington to play bluegrass music at the World's Fair Expo in 1974. Dennis has produced numerous CD albums for local musicians and also creates radio and TV commercials for local retail businesses. You can see and hear more at www.denniscoats.com


Carol Coats is married to Dennis and has performed with him in many shows and especially Christian church venues where she sings and plays guitar. Together, their gospel music programs are well received in the Northwest.


Singer Coats in an accomplished bluegrass mandolin player and can be seen at most bluegrass festivals either on stage or joining in the many bluegrass jam sessions lasting into the wee hours of the morning!


Tom D'orazi plays the 'Stand Up' Bass to give the group some good bottom end rhythm. A lifetime musician that plays all the instruments and a definite highlight to the show.


Joined by some of the finest musicians around, Flatpick Earl is a joy ride you won't want to miss!
