The Interpretive Guides of Hawaii Forest & Trail will guide you through the summit caldera, steam vents, cinder fields and native rainforests. Depending upon current conditions, you'll visit Kalapana to witness the lava entering the ocean at sunset or Halemaumaui Crater that contains a hidden lake of molten rock that glows after dark.
