Six-Course Thai Food Feast catered by The Open Hearth andhosted by the Downing's. 6:30 pm on Friday, February 13th 2015.
Menu:
Passed Appetizer Course: Citrus Basil Cooler, Tofu Satay, Beef Satay, and Salad Rolls, served with: Peanut Dipping Sauce and Chili Lime Cilantro Dipping Sauce. Beverage Service: Thai Iced Coffee, Caffeine-free Thai Iced Tea with Rooibos, or Hot Thai Tea (all beverages are dairy-free). Soup Course: Thai Coconut Soup. Salad Course: Green Papaya Salad with Home-grown Mung Bean Sprouts. Entrée Course: Thai Style Grilled Chicken with Sweet Chili Tamarind Dipping Sauce, Green Curry with Eggplant and Bell Peppers, and Black Forbidden Rice. Dessert Course: Coconut Vanilla Tapioca Pudding laced with Mango Purée, Hot Coffee and Hot Thai Tea.
Special Instructions
This catered feast is gluten and dairy-free and will be made from primarily whole, unprocessed and organically-grown ingredients. Everywhere possible, coconut sugar will be used as the primary sweetener, making this Thai meal have a lower than usual glycemic index. The feast will be hosted by the Downing's in their lovely hill top home.
