This includes 2 beautiful framed Art Work pieces by Ennio Torresan who is originally from Brazil and has been living in Los Angeles for the past nine years. He graduated with a fine arts degree from the Academy of Fine Arts in Rio de Janeiro. While at university he was deeply influenced by comic books and European expressionists like Bacon, Freud and Richter, as well as by a few Brazilian artists who reinterpreted the European schools. During this period he began exhibiting paintings in various shows and art projects in and around Rio. While still in Brazil, in the late 80's, he became involved in animation; and created a short animated film called "El Macho," which won prizes in many of the international film festivals. Most recently he directed the television series "Spongebob" at Nickelodeon and "Teachers Pet" at Disney and is currently developing and doing storyboards on various animated shows at Dream Works.
