Long before nylon and canvas backpacks became the norm, wooden pack baskets and creels were commonplace on the waterways of northern Maine, the Adirondacks, and way beyond. Using the same time-tested construction, our pack baskets and creels are as practical on a canoe trek as they are a picnic at the beach, or trip to the local farmer's market.

The R18 represents our more traditional R Series. It is 18inches deep and 12inches deep, and made from a 3/8inch weave. 

All of our baskets are made from hand pounded, native Maine Brown Ash. From their intricate weaves and fine leather straps, each has a personality all of its own, and is truly unique. These baskets are made locally to our shop in Orono.
