Description
The first incense is made by the Shechen monastery, manufactured according to the formula of the Nyingma monastery of Mindroling in central Tibet, renowned for the purity of its traditions. It is said that the subtle perfume of the incense at Mindroling could be perceived even outside the temple in which it was burned. The incense is made up of more than one hundred ingredients, chiefly comprised of wild plants gathered at a high altitude in the Himlayas, and selected and processed with the utmost care. The manufacture of incense represents one of the many facets of the sacred arts of Tibet.

The second incense in this package, called rlung Spos (Lung Po), is made by the monks of Thrangu Mentsee Khang and is said to have many health benefits, including relief to those who suffer from: trembling, diffused pain, difficulty breathing, hypertension, palpitations, hysteria, a dry rough tongue, sickness of three confliction diseases: nervous disorder, fever, and infection, sickness of overstimulated sympathetic nervous system, sickness of rising hypertension, with blood pressure, insomnia, etc.
